Global Warming
Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth. The global average temperature on Earth has been increasing during the last 100 years. The reason behind this is the greenhouse effect.
The greenhouse effect is the process in which the emission of infrared radiation from the atmosphere warms the Earth's surface. The main cause of the greenhouse effect is carbon dioxide, or CO2. With the amount of industrial activity, a lot of CO2 is being produced and put into the atmosphere. This is one of the main reasons behind global warming, and it has to be stopped or the world as we know it will never be the same.
